ABOUT THE COLLECTION

In his latest collection titled “Numinous”, designer Danny Reinke explores the tension between attraction and fear. Inspired by dark forests as places of the unknown –evoking both unease and fascination – the label presents a collection situated between prêt-à-couture and sculptural design, conveying a sense of protection and fragility. At the heart of the collection is materiality: a mix of tulle, transparent fabrics, as well as recycled and deadstock textiles, results in garments with unique surface textures. Another key element of the collection is self-woven fabrics made from collected leftover materials such as ropes, wool, felt and leather remnants, or raffia. Coats, dresses, and ensembles crafted from faux fur and virgin wool play a particularly central role. Also noteworthy is the first-time collaboration with Korean designer Sungyi Lee of WALA DESIGN LAB, who co-designed selected pieces.
